freetech fourms Terms of Use, Rules, and Agreements
Free Tech discussion forums and media are open to anyone who discusses and deliberates on related Free Tech content, including Free Tech’ announcements, rules, policies and all other relative subjects. Registration is required to receive full benefits of the site.
Our policy is to keep the site open for honest discussion. We do not remove posts that are critical to the discussion of any topics mentioned above, but we do remove content we find indecent, offensive, malicious or unrelated to the purpose of the site; we also remove posts that seek to criticize or promote a third party or services provided by another site. Administrators and Moderators have the sole right to deem what is, and what is not within the guidelines provided to uphold our policy.
We have made our Forums available for your use on this Web site subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this document. By accessing the Forums contained herein, you agree to the Terms of Use.
Any and all warnings and banishment are solely dependent on the severity of the situation and repeated offenses. Appeals are welcome but any permanent banishment goes without question. See List of Consequences at the bottom of the page.
1. CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
While we try as hard as humanly possible, Free Tech reserves the right to make any change to these terms at any point in time without any notice.
2. USER ELIGIBILITY
2.1 In acceptance of this agreement, all users, in accordance with COPPA regulations acknowledge that they are at least 13 years of age and older, unless given the express permission of a parent or guardian via an email to angelscybercommunication@gmail.com
3. REGISTRATION
3.1 Any person upon opening this website, regardless of their registration status, falls under the Free Tech rules and guidelines.
3.2 All registration information must be accurate. If registration information is found fake or malicious their account may be removed, reported, or have any other action deemed necessary without the consent of the owner.
3.3 Upon registering, the user acknowledges that Free Tech has the right to use your information in any way it sees fit to benefit your user experience. We will NOT give out or sell your information. Free Tech site integration is enabled by the user and any issues caused by those sites cannot be held liable towards Free Tech.
3.4 All visitors on sight are automatically considered to have agreed to the site’s rules and agreements. By being a registered member, you hereby agree to any changes made to these rules even without notice unless prompted otherwise.
4. Forum Content
Please be aware that Free Tech is an index and database of embedded videos from video sharing websites, music downloads, and software from external file hosting sites. None of the videos, video files, music, or software are hosted on this site or its servers, unless stated otherwise. If you believe that your copyrighted content is showing on Free Tech, please take your DMCA take down notices directly to the video or file sharing websites that are hosting your videos or files. All Rights reserved to their respective owners.
5. User Conduct
3rd Party Violations:
5.1 Do not post links leading to other sites similar to Free Tech's content, or post virus, worm, spyware, or malicious code hosting sites. Posting links to sites containing illegal material is STRICTLY prohibited.
5.2 Do not post advertisements, chain letters, junk email or bulk communications. (Excluding Spamzilla and LEGITIMATE Money making opportunities in the Monetization board)
5.3 Do not use Free Tech's domain name or sub-site domain name as a pseudonymous return email address or any account for any communications that you transmit from another location or through another service unless given permission.
User Profiles:
5.4 Only one line of images is allowed per signature.
5.5 Your total signature height should be no bigger than 250 pixels.
5.6 No pornographic/racial/vulgar contents in your signatures or avatars
5.7 No username, titles, etc. may contain offensive material
Mini-Moderation:
5.8 Don't go around saying things should be moderated, let the moderators do their job, or you can apply to be a moderator yourself. If someone is new, simply guide them to these rules.
5.9 Use the report button, that's what it's there for. The report button is NOT for: Saying thank you, responding to someone, saying random *****, etc.
Malicious Content:
5.10 Do not upload, post or otherwise transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
5.11 Do not post, upload, or display any content meant to maliciously affect any member, staff member, or person.
5.12 Do not post any material that is obscene, defamatory, racist, violent, harassing, profane or otherwise objectionable.
Personal Information:
5.13 Posting or breaching anyone's personal private information is STRICTLY ILLEGAL. You will be banned and reported to the police.
5.14 Posting the contents of any private conversation without consent from all parties involved
Posting Etiquette (Racism/Flaming/Profanity/Spamming/Harassment/Improper Speak):
5.15 Any use of racism, offensive racial slurs or racial profiling will result in severe punishment.
5.16 Spamming classified as excessive posting of any kind, use of characters, and/or irrelevant posts of any kind.
5.17 Refrain from posting in improper English, l33t speak, excessive and incoherent slang, or any excessive uses of characters, letters, and symbols. Except in the permissible forums are these violations not allowed.
5.18 If you post in another language other than English, please provide a translation from a translator such as Google Translator. If you wish you may post both the original language and the translation.
5.19 Act in any manner that negatively affects other users' ability to engage in real time communications.
Bypassing the Word Block:
5.20 Using any profanity or bypass the word block in any way, including using characters, symbols or other languages is not allowed. For example using the character "@" to form an "A" while *** is acceptable.
Leaking Exclusive Content:
5.21 Leaking Exclusive Content IS NOT EVER allowed. If you are caught doing so, consequences will be severe.
5.22 Free Tech holds no responsibility or right over what is leaked. Responsibility and right is automatically given to the absolute original uploader of the material. Meaning the poster may not hold responsibility.
5.23 Free Tech is not liable for any leaked content. Liability is based solely on the original uploader.
Multiple Accounts:
5.24 Making or having multiple accounts is not permitted, unless given permission by an Administrator. Duplicate account checks are done regularly.
Scamming:
5.25 One cannot scam other forum members, severe punishment will be served if proof is provided.
Trolling/Flaming:
5.26 Trolling/Flaming other members is frowned upon at Free Tech, please stay away from it. The following punishment will be served if user feels insulted. (Excludes Spamzilla board, and April Fools of course)
Software, Code, Anime, Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc:
5.27 Free Tech serves as an online database for Software, Code, Anime, Music, Movies, TV shows, etc, it does not host any media or other copyrighted materials on its own web servers.
5.28 If any owner is bothered by any material, please notify the uploader or upload site, instead of Free Tech, it will automatically be removed from Free Tech once it is removed from its original location.
Link Shorteners:
5.29 Monetization Link shorteners such as adfly, linkbucks, and adcrunch are STRICTLY not allowed unless given permission from an Administrator. Free Tech reserves the right to use its own shortened links and replace the users.
Staff Infractions:
5.30 No impersonating staff members in any manner. Not even on April Fools.
5.31 Under no circumstances will anyone disrespect any staff members. Both violations will result in severe punishment. If a user has an issue with a staff member, they may file a report or appeal in the HQ Suggestions, Questions, and Discussions board.
6. User Rights:
- All users are Innocent until proven guilty
- Users can dispute their punishment in the Dispute board
- Can notify any Admins about Moderator behavior/unfairness
- Have the right to remain silent, ok not really…
- If no action is taken to prove themselves innocent, they will be considered guilty until proven innocent.
7. Administrator's Authority:
- An Administrator can dismiss any rule above!
- An Administrator reserves the right to give any punishment
- Any stickied/pinned post in any section by an Admin can bypass any of these rules.
8. Software releases
8.1 - Software released is not endorsed by Free Tech in any way if the author is not an official 7pm Tech developer, even if the company listed in the properties is Free Tech.
8.2 - Full responsibility is given to the releaser/original creator for their work, not Free Tech.
8.3 - Any software released under a name that is not the original creator, will be removed and the user sharing it will receive punishment
8.4 - Stolen code is not a crime as the US Supreme Court has deemed it as legal because code cannot be property. However we still do not promote or encourage users to do so.

8. 5 - Any code that is believed to be stolen and put into an application without credit cannot be requested by Free Tech for take down.

8.6 - Users may ask for donations, however they are not permitted to ask for a donation for an upgraded version. Instead, they may ask for a purchase.
9. Piracy
Free Tech as well as its owners and staff do not promote or encourage piracy. Any discussion about piracy as well as releases have full responsibility to the users involved in the act, not the discussion. Discussion does not deem one as a pirate, it is exercising freedom of speech with those who may be pirating.
In the matter that someone releases a tool that can be used for pirating, that tool is not considered a tool purely for piracy. In many cases that tool may be used for legitimate purposes, the illegality of the tool is based on how the user uses it. Refer to 5.27 and 5.28 for information regarding the files themselves.
In the matter of a thread containing a method of illegal activity, Free Tech takes no credit or responsibility. It is the original poster's responsibility. If an individual or group wishes for that thread to be deleted, inform an administrator and we will remove it.
Threads containing any downloadable means of modifying a software’s activation illegally are not permitted. This includes cracks, keygens, medicine, trial resets, hacktivators, etc.
Posting serials and keys for software is not permitted unless given permission or if they serial/key is a part of an official promotion, for the use of troubleshooting, or if it is for a trial use.
Posting software that is paid but does not have activation checks and other means of purchase validation is also not permitted. This includes mobile apps.
10. Content of Information
You are responsible for the information or material you put on Free Tech. The postings express the views of the author, not necessarily the views of Free Tech. Free Tech does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any message.
If you feel that a message is objectionable you can contact us immediately by message or email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and will make every effort to do so within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. Free Tech may also terminate access for users if found repeatedly posting offensive content.
11. Limitation of Liability
In no way will Free Tech be held liable for any damages done to a user, whether verbally or physically. We do not reflect the views of any user or any other company or Person(s). Any losses or damages due to user discussions and actions will not be reprimanded by Free Tech that extends beyond banning and deletion, as seen fit by Free Tech staff.
12. User punishment
Upon any rule infringement users will be given a warning. Warnings come with warning points set by the Moderator. A moderator may choose to give as many points as he/she deems suitable.
We are rather lenient with our warning points policy compared to most other sites shown below:
After 3 warning points the user is subjected to 1 day without any content creating privileges.
After 4 warning points the user is subjected to a 3 day span without any content creating privileges.
After 5 warning points the user is subjected to a whole week without any content creating privileges.
After 6 warning points the user is subjected to 2 weeks without any content creating privileges.
After 7 warning points the user is subjected to 30 days without any content creating privileges.
From 8-11 warning points the user will get 3 months without any content creating privileges per warning point.
After 12 warning points the user will be permanently banned, IP denied, and all user information will be submitted to all major spamhauses, affiliated sites, and business partners for rejection.
If any illegal activity is found, the user will be reported to INTERPOL.
